Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 13: Director Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar is currently performing at the box office, like a player in the prime of his career. The theatrical run, which started with controversy closing in, has now dethroned several films and filmmakers from what was once their throne. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 30 crore on day 13, taking its India net collection to Rs 411 crore. The film is estimated to make Rs 625-630 crore worldwide after 12 days.

While reaching that impressive number, Dhurandhar has trampled over several competitors. The Ranveer Singh-led film has broken 19 records at the Indian box office, becoming the top film in all those categories. There are several other categories for which Dhurandhar has bagged the silver medal, finishing right behind Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. For example, Dhurandhar had the second biggest opening day for an A-rated film in Hindi. It earned Rs 28 crore net, while Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal earned Rs 54.75 crore.

Animal, in fact, beats out Dhurandhar for the whole first week, getting the highest opening on the second day, all the way to the highest opening on the sixth day. This is the point where Dhurandhar runs with the ball and breaks every other record conceivable. It became Ranveer Singh’s biggest opening weekend, earning Rs 103 crore net, and also the biggest opening week for the actor, bringing in Rs 207.25 crore. There are some records which prove that the film was able to sustain past the first week’s excitement and actually play the long game.
These records include becoming the only film with an Rs 100 crore-plus opening weekend to score a jump on the second weekend. It is also the only Hindi film to score Rs 200 crore plus in the second week and the biggest second week in Hindi cinema. These are just some of the records that the film has broken during its theatrical run.

The occupancy rates for day 13 averaged out at 42.88%, with the morning and afternoon shows bringing in rates of 24.1% and 40.46%. The evening and night shows closed out strong, with rates like 50.42% and 56.53%. These high occupancy rates have helped the film cross the Rs 600 mark worldwide, with the total collection sitting at Rs 623.5 crore. When it comes to the worldwide collection, the closest film to overtake will be Anil Sharma’s Gadar 2, which earned Rs 686 crore all over the globe.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the cast of Dhurandhar includes Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan.
