It’s celebration time at the Kaushal-Kaif household, as actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are celebrating their wedding anniversary on Tuesday. Four years ago, the two actors celebrated their wedding in a grand fashion. The stars had stayed mum about their relationship throughout their courtship and only started talking about each other after they were married.
Their anniversary celebration is coming just weeks after they were blessed with the birth of their son. Vicky took to his Instagram and posted a picture with Katrina. The caption of the picture read, “Celebrating today. Blissful, grateful and sleep-deprived. Happy 4 to us.” The comments section of the post was filled with blessings and wishes from fans and co-stars.
Actor Neha Dupia commented with two heart emojis, while Indian choreographer Vijay Ganguly and director Zoya Akhtar both commented with hearts and lucky charms. One fan congratulated the couple and wrote, “Happy Wedding Anniversary to one of my favourite couples. Wish you continue to inspire others with your love and companionship. Cheers to many more stronger years ahead. Enjoy your day and keep rocking.”
Another fan wrote that this anniversary is extra special for the couple, as they recently became new parents. They wrote, “Happy Anniversary to Vicky and Katrina. This year is even more special as you celebrate your love as new parents. May your beautiful family always be surrounded with warmth, blessings, and endless joy.”
The couple have always been vocal about their marriage, and they always post to celebrate the special days in each other’s lives. Kaushal has often talked about the first meeting with Kaif and how he accidentally proposed marriage to her. While appearing on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s show Two Much, Kaushal recalled his proposal and said, “During the second award show, I had asked Katrina, ‘Why don’t you get married to a nice guy like Vicky?’ We weren’t dating at that time. The truth is that that was a gag on stage in that show and that no matter which heroine shows up, I have to ask this question to them.” A few years later, the two were actually married.
